As I looked at the quote above, I laughed. I find myself laughing so easily these days. I don’t know why, but I think it is simply that I more lighthearted and have less resistance.
My first thought about no one knowing enough to be a pessimist was that being a pessimist is all about not knowing enough because if enough were known, the optimism of the world would surely shine so brightly as to not see a spec of pessimism.
