Absolutely. In fact, I think that the only way to really be happy is to not need anyone to agree with us. Otherwise, we are looking to others to make us happy and that is not really possible. Others don’t have the capacity to make us happy. This is our own sacred task alone. We certainly may be pleased that someone does or acts a certain way, and it is comforting sometimes when people agree with us. Clubs have been formed, and a million other organizations based on this idea. But, happiness doesn’t come from without, it comes from within. It is strictly and fortunately a choice.

I love the power and perfection of that.
